We’re now accepting presentation and panel discussion proposals for the Canadian Acoustics Conference 2025, taking place October 15–17 in Calgary, Alberta.
This is your chance to share insights, innovations, and experiences with Canada’s acoustics and vibration community. Whether you’re in research, consulting, industry, or policy, we want to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking submissions that are insightful, relevant, and engaging. Topics may include, but are not limited to:
- Practical case studies or lessons learned
- New research and technical findings
- Architectural acoustics
- Environmental noise and vibration
- Underwater acoustics
- Wildlife impacts
- Human health and community well-being
- Occupational and industrial noise
- Modelling approaches and tools
- Measurement and monitoring techniques
- Panel discussion proposals on emerging or challenging topics
We’re especially interested in sessions that bridge theory and practice, spark discussion, or showcase collaboration across sectors.
Format and Selection
- Presentations will be 20–30 minutes, assigned by the organizers.
- Panel discussions may be longer, depending on scope.
- You may choose to also submit a paper for the CAA Journal. This is optional. The presentation is the assumed format unless the additional CAA paper option is also selected.
- Abstracts will be reviewed by the AANViS conference committee, and selected submissions will be sent to the CAA if the additional paper is requested.
- Your presentation and individual details will be shared in advance of the conference for promotional purposes. The presentation will potentially be recorded and shared on public channels for future promotional campaigns.
- Presenters will receive a discounted rate for the conference.
